%0 Journal Article %T Metabolizaci¨Žn de informaci¨Žn: un modelo din¨˘mico para interpretar el proceso de producci¨Žn de conocimiento %A Pastora Hidalgo %A Belkys %A Gonz¨˘lez %A Fredy Enrique %J Investigaci¨Žn y Postgrado %D 2009 %I Scientific Electronic Library Online %X this research reports how to transform information into knowledge. this study was supported by the system general theory, the autophoiesis, the mediation and the accommodation - adaptation theory. among the proposed objectives there are: to establish the character of the dynamic intellectual products (dip) of a doctoral thesis considering the mental energy mobilized by its author; to identify the processes of thought activated during the elaboration of a doctoral thesis, assumed as specific instance of a dip; to characterize the mental effort made during the elaboration of a doctoral thesis; and to generate an interpretative model of the complete process for the production of knowledge. the study constituted an interpretative-descriptive systemic investigation, with a study design of multiple qualitative cases. the information was obtained through interviews, content analysis and stimulated recollection sessions. the information was analyzed and interpreted through quantitative and qualitative processes, conjunctively using the continuous comparative method and the processes of crossed control. the findings revealed that during the production of knowledge the information must be metabolized, which implies interaction with the exomemory, operating cognitively with referential images, working mentally immersed through the thematic in company of an expert, making his or hers the words of others. as the main contribution, a dynamic model is proposed in order to interpret the knowledge production process. %K dynamic intellectual product %K cognitive dynamic %K thought processes. %U http://www.scielo.org.ve/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&pid=S1316-00872009000100002&lng=en&nrm=iso&tlng=en
