%0 Journal Article %T Efecto de los estilos de aprendizaje y la autoeficacia computacional sobre el desempe£¿o en el foro electr¨®nico %A Peinado de Brice£¿o %A Sof¨ªa %A Ram¨ªrez L %A Jorge J %J Investigaci¨®n y Postgrado %D 2010 %I Scientific Electronic Library Online %X the effect of learning styles and computational self-efficacy in the internet forum performance has been analyzed in this investigation. the sample consisted of 83 universidad sim¨®n bol¨ªvar students. this performance was measured through 3 indicators: the interventions, the efficacy of a test and the creation of group knowledge. we conducted a factorial analysis of variance (anova) 4 x 3. the results show that learning styles do not have a meaningful effect in internet forum performance, but only in the efficacy of this test. computational self-efficacy exists in each one of the indicators, and the interaction between both variables doesn£¿t have any relevance to the non-presential education activities, but it is relevant when it comes to on-site education activities. these results may have implications for teaching as well as for the design of strategies for courses that use online forums as a support. %K learning styles %K computational self-efficacy %K performance in online forums. %U http://www.scielo.org.ve/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&pid=S1316-00872010000100008&lng=en&nrm=iso&tlng=en
