%X nervous system tuberculosis is a serious condition with high morbidity and mortality. in the last years an important increase was produced, which might call our attention upon this problem in the country. between 1990 and 2008, thirteen cases were evaluated, eight male and five female, aged 1 to 4 years old; mean age 2 years. diagnosis: pott disease: 2; cerebral abscess 2; meningitis 2; hidrocephalia 4; intracranial hypertension 3. only 4 patients are under adequate follow up.
