%X basic disciplines related to the concept, nature and fundamentals of human rights are analyzed. this subject should not be considered merely from a juridical viewpoint, since its vision would become strictly limited to considering £¿law about human rights£¿. documentary type methodology is used through analyzing doctrinal sources supported by the analytic method. conclusions indicate the need for a holistic vision and treatment of human rights where historic, ethical, juridical, political and sociological dimensions stand out due to their importance.
