%0 Journal Article %T Evaluaci¨®n del m¨¦todo de conservaci¨®n en papel de filtro en dos cepas de Bacillus subtilis Cohn mediante la actividad antag¨®nica frente a Rhizoctonia solani K¨¹hn %A Sosa L¨®pez %A Acenet I %A Pazos ¨¢lvarez-Rivera %A Victoria %A Borges Mar¨ªn %A Giovanni %A Gonz¨¢lez Garc¨ªa %A Marleny %A Ponce Grijuela %A Enrique %J Fitosanidad %D 2011 %I Instituto de Investigaciones de Sanidad Vegetal %X antagonistic activity of two bacillus subtilis strains preserved in filter paper disks at 4¡ãc for a period of three years was evaluated. strains bs-21 and bs-42, isolated from cuban soil and antagonists to rhizoctonia solani rs-10 were choiced. five colonies from bs-42 and one from bs-21, randomly selected were growth in nutrient agar. the antagonism was compared by dual culture method in pda after 96 h at 30¡ãc. viability of both strains was 108 cfu/ml. selected colonies kept purity, morphological characteristics and positive response to gram stain compared with b. subtilis atcc 6633. all selected colonies inhibited mycelial growth of r. solani rs-10, but not the reference strain. strain bs-21 had the lower inhibition (78%) while bs-421 and bs-422 had the higher percent (98%). variance analysis showed significant differences in the percentage of inhibition exhibited by tested colonies. %K bacillus subtilis %K biological conservation %K antagonism %K rhizoctonia solani. %U http://scielo.sld.cu/scielo.php?script=sci_abstract&pid=S1562-30092011000100007&lng=en&nrm=iso&tlng=en
