%X an agropastoralist burial within structure 1 of punta de la pe£¿a 9 site, sector i, from antofagasta de la sierra, southern argentinean puna is analyzed. the burial is studied from a dynamic point of view, one that enables the exploration of several natural and cultural processes -both deliberate and random- that shaped the context. a multidisciplinary approach is used, integrating several lines of evidence that include bioanthropological, archaeobotanical, zooarchaeological, ceramic, stratigraphic, lithic stone tool techno-typological, and mineral sample compositional analyses. as a result, thirteen dynamic formation and transformation processes that include removal, addition and extraction of human parts, ecofacts and artefacts, are identified.
