%X this manuscript addresses some theoretical elements that converge with the epistemology of social representations. its links and structure are discussed following specific examples surrounding the debate on social knowledge accounting for the difficulties in explaining human conduct and the relations between what is shared and what is consensual. also, we put this forward as a paradigm to interpret group behaviour relative to a specific object, considering its dynamic potential, and how it may be used in processes of mathematical teaching and learning.
