%X the friendly settlements at the inter-american human rights protection system and at other similar international organs of protection on human rights can be considered as a group of measures inside transitional justice process. the author examines the causes of the friendly settlements by colombia at the inter-american human rights protection system between 1994 and 1997 and their impact in institutional and legal development, with the achievement of justice right in concrete cases.
