%X on the 2nd of february 2009 the european union enacted the directive 2008/101/ec, which amended directive 2003/87/ec, to include aviation activities in the scheme for greenhouse gas emission allowance trading within the community. the purpose of this paper is to define whether this unilateral measure constitutes a breach of international law.
