%X this paper attempts to understand the movements of oil price increase and the american dollar depreciation, between 2001 and 2008. in this conjuncture of uncertainty, the usa suffers from important retraction in economic and geopolitical spheres. american foreign and budgetary deficits induce an unbalance dynamic which tends to disorder the world economy.
