%X this text presents results of our ma research involving the discourse analysis (da) of masculine sexuality in two nationwide circulation magazines: universo masculino (masculine universe) and men's health. taking into consideration french da, grounded on a view of the interdisciplinarity of linguistics with other areas of knowledge, we analyze a few articles published in 2009 by such magazines, pointing out the discursive comprehension of these publications as being hegemonic writings of masculine subjectivity nowadays.
