%X this essay attempts to approach the meta-theoretical character of philosophical anthropology in social theory. to illustrate this relation we will summarize some anthropological suppositions in the case of ¨¦mile durkheim's sociology of education. this work highlights the theoretical and practical importance of philosophical anthropologies and cryptoanthropologies in the field of social science.
