%X in this paper i focus on the moral role of disgust. after characterizing this emotion, i identify and critically examine three main objections recently presented to show that disgust is morally problematic. i argue that none warrant rejecting the moral appropriateness of disgust in all instances, for example, as a response to certain kinds of evil. i end by summarizing recent research in moral psychology that links the acceptance of disgust to a conservative view of morality.
