%X this paper intends to advance a criticism of the notion of greek kosmos understood as an orderly world, since textual evidence in the presocratics could only support a notion like that for a period quite far from the early greek philosophy. in the early greek philosophers, the notion of kosmos does not convey this idea, as it will be shown through a revision of the wrong translation of their fragments. finally, it will be explained how to do a new reinterpretation of their philosophies.
