%X this paper intends to show, regarding the hermeneutic views of gadamer and ricoeur, the way how both thinkers seem to respond to the problem that inquires for the role that language plays in the human activity of understanding, both in the field of dialogue, and in the relation that mediates between the act of reading and the act of writing.
