Based on the theory of educational ecology, this study proposes to establish an open ecological teaching system according to the characteristics of the contemporary college student group as digital natives, by creating a knowledge and skill enriched environment, using the co-evolution mechanism and attaching importance to ideological and political education. In this study, we collected questionnaires from students of cross-cultural business communication courses and analyzed the materials using SPSS and NVivo. Results suggest an association between this teaching mode and positive outcomes in cultural knowledge acquisition, teamwork skills and cultural confidence, with relevant statistical analysis indicating favorable trends. A positive correlation is observed between students¡¯ inclass engagement and teaching effectiveness. This study provides a reference for the reform of foreign language teaching, as well as the cultivation of compound, innovative and transcultural talents in the new era.
