Emerging Trends in Language Education Technology Studies: A Mapping-Knowledge-Domain Analysis %A 何春艳 %J Modern Linguistics %P 37-46 %@ 2330-1716 %D 2025 %I Hans Publishing %R 10.12677/ml.2025.137678 %X 文章以Web of Science引文索引数据库为语料来源,借助计量分析软件CiteSpace和VOS Viewer的可视化技术,对2000~2021年间国际语言教育技术研究相关文献进行可视化分析。研究发现:① 国际语言教育技术研究目前处于成熟期的上升阶段,未来几年内发文量持续攀升,在交叉学科研究领域有所突破;② 从研究团队来看,本领域缺乏高产型作者,但研究机构分析发现我国是仅次于美国的全球第二大语言教育技术研究领域的主导国家;③ 从高被引文献聚类情况可以分析得到目前教育技术在语言教学研究领域的热点为翻转课堂教学模式、口语能力提高、移动设备在语言教学中的认可度;④ 从主题热点分析来看,英语课堂教学和学习者素养研究两个方面是国际语言教育技术研究的热点问题,而虚拟现实(VR)是2017年以来最热门的研究主题;⑤ 下一阶段,该领域将在个性化学习、虚拟和增强现实技术在语言学习中的应用、教育技能在阅读理解技能上的应用研究、教师专业发展和教育技术整合等四个主题上得到进一步的拓展。
This study set out to conduct a dynamic visual knowledge mapping analysis of literature on international language education technology with the help of bibliometric analysis softwares, CiteSpace and VOS Viewer. The data was collected from the Web of Science (WOS) Core Collection-Citation Index database from 2000 to 2021. The study found that: (1) international language education technology research is currently in a mature stage of growth, with the number of publications expected to continue to rise in the coming years, with breakthroughs in interdisciplinary research; (2) From the perspective of research teams, the field lacks high-output authors, but the analysis of research institutions shows that China is the world’s second-largest leading country in language education technology research after the United States; (3) From the clustering of highly cited literature, the current hot topics in language teaching research are the flipped classroom teaching model, oral proficiency improvement, and the recognition of mobile devices in language teaching; (4) From the analysis of topic hotspots, two aspects of English classroom teaching and learner literacy research are hot issues in international language education technology research, and virtual reality (VR) has been the most popular research topic since 2017; (5) In the next stage, this field will further expand in four themes: personalized learning, the application of virtual and augmented reality technology in language learning, the application of educational skills in reading comprehension skills, and teacher professional development and integration of educational technology. %K 语言教育技术, %K CiteSpace, %K VOS Viewer, %K VR
