Developments were made to the basic Tabu Search to adapt it to the optimisation problem. This paper explains the contribution made in development of the adaptations to the basic Tabu Search. The principle of Tabu Search is explained, followed by the statement of the optimisation problem, the description of the optimisation of WET is given, the Tabu Search algorithm is described and the experiments and results are discussed. It was found out that initial thresholds of infeasibility should be set and these should be varied during the optimisation. The multi-objective, multi-period function should be evaluated on a Pareto incumbent front. Different strategies should be used for minimisation of cost and minimisation of infeasibility, and diversification should be done by performing random restarts with the incumbent solution. %K Tabu Search %K Optimization %K WET %K Technique %U http://www.scirp.org/journal/PaperInformation.aspx?PaperID=143618
