Questioning the Lexical Labeling of “Renjun” and “Rijun” in the “Modern Chinese Dictionary” (7th Edition)

%X “人均”和“日均”在《现代汉语词典》(第7版)中均标注为动词词性，并给出了相应释义，通过语料库对这两个词的句法功能和组合能力进行考察，发现这两个词的主要句法功能均为做定语和做状语。据此，本文按照《现汉》的词类系统，认为将其词性定位形容词的附类“属性词”以及副词更为妥帖，并对其释义进行调整，以更好地反映词语在语言使用中的真实样貌。
“Renjun”, and “Rijun” in the “Modern Chinese Dictionary” (7th edition) are labeled with verb lexemes and given corresponding interpretations. The syntactic functions and combining ability of the three words are examined at the co-temporal level, and it is found that the main syntactic functions are to make determiners and gerunds. According to the lexical category system of the “Modern Chinese Dictionary”, this paper thinks that it is more appropriate to locate their lexical natures in the category of adjectives, which is attached to the term “attributive”, and adjust the interpretations of these terms to better reflect the real appearance of the words in the language use. The interpretation is adjusted to better reflect the real appearance of words in language use.
