This study aims to explore the role of child bloggers in media labor in the digital age. Against the research background of Neil Postman’s “The Disappearance of Childhood”, it seeks to investigate how child bloggers are both “influencers” and “influenced” in a media culture where adults and children coexist as audiences, and how this mutual influence is reflected in their processes of shaping, expressing, and reflecting on childhood. Through textual analysis, this paper reveals the process by which child bloggers in the digital age reconstruct childhood images through short video communication and discusses the multidimensional aspects of childhood experiences reconstructed in digital environments. Although children’s images exhibit characteristics of adultification and commercialization, the author argues that within the paradox of the otherness construction of children’s images, this does not signify “the disappearance of childhood”, but rather the return of children’s right to speak and the reconstruction of childhood images.
