This study employs Lacanian psychoanalytic theory and the dark triad personality model to analyze the subjective split personality of Nonoguchi Shu, the protagonist in Higashino Keigo’s Akui. It argues that Nonoguchi Shu’s malicious behavior stems from a cognitive rupture in the mirror stage caused by childhood trauma and the disintegration of subjectivity within the symbolic order, with his personality traits aligning closely with the Dark Triad characteristics—narcissism, Machiavellianism, and psychopathy. This study proposes that “traversing fantasy” may be a way to resist personality alienation, stressing the importance of facing reality and reconfiguring the subject—other relationship. Overall, this study not only interprets the dark side of human nature in Akui but also offers a theoretical perspective for understanding the origins of extreme personality. %K 镜像阶段, %K 主体分裂人格, %K 黑暗三联征
