%X The article considers the specifics and new methods of decarbonization of the oil and gas industry. The methods are presented in two key groups¡ªoperational and intra-corporate. The methods are compared and their peculiarities are evaluated. Practical examples of implementation of these methods based on the experience of foreign and Russian oil and gas companies. A special emphasis is made on a new financial model of decarbonization of oil and gas companies¡¯ business, called ¡°Satellite¡±, which makes it possible not to divert the main cash flow of the company from the key business, but at the same time continue to finance green projects that have a positive effect on reducing the carbon footprint of the enterprise and its products.
