Study on the English Mistranslations of Mythological Allusions in Chinese Tourist Attractions Based on Cultural Translation Theory %A 白雪 %A 汤敬安 %J Modern Linguistics %P 101-107 %@ 2330-1716 %D 2025 %I Hans Publishing %R 10.12677/ml.2025.136570 %X 在世界文化交流日益密切的今天,中国文化的国际影响力达到了前所未有的新高度,中国各旅游景点也成为了中华文化对外交流的重要载体。其中,具有中国古代神话传说色彩的景点,因其兼具神秘色彩与趣味性,吸引着许多国外游客的目光,故其译名的准确性也尤为重要。本研究旨在对中国神话典故相关的国内旅游景点译名进行调查,分析其中的误译现象,提出译文的修改意见,提升各旅游景区神话典故译名的翻译准确程度。
Today, the global cultural communication is becoming increasingly close, and the international influence of Chinese culture has reached such a new height that Chinese tourist attractions have become the important channel for the international cultural communication. Among them, scenic spots filled with ancient Chinese myths and legends attract the attention of foreign tourists, thus the accuracy of their translated name is particularly significant. This study aims to investigate the translations of domestic tourist attractions containing Chinese mythological allusions, analyze their mistranslation phenomena, propose suggestions for revision of these translated names, and enhance the accuracy of the translations of mythological allusions in names of these tourist attractions. %K 文化翻译理论, %K 旅游翻译, %K 神话典故翻译, %K 误译
