%X 随着国际交往的加深，西方读者对中国少数民族文学作品越来越感兴趣，这些作品中的少数民族姓名独具特色，在翻译时和汉族姓名翻译方法处理不一致，少数民族姓名英译也成为文化交流、身份识别及学术研究的关键环节。少数民族文学作品是我国文学作品的重要组成部分，独具特色的少数民族姓名反映了少数民族的生产生活，在讲好中国故事、传播好中国文化的背景下，将少数民族文学作品中的姓名英译传播是译者的责任和使命。本文主要阐述了少数民族姓名的类型及其英译方法，探讨在尊重文化多样性的基础上，如何实现少数民族姓名的英译，为少数民族作品中姓名英译提供新的思路。
With the deepening of international exchanges, Western readers are becoming increasingly interested in the literary works of China’s ethnic minorities. The names of ethnic minorities in these works are uniquely characteristic, and their translation methods differ from those for the translation of Han Chinese names. The English translation of the names of ethnic minorities has also become a crucial part of cultural exchanges, identity recognition, and academic research. The literary works of ethnic minorities are an important component of China’s literary works. The uniquely characteristic names of ethnic minorities reflect the production and daily life of ethnic minorities. Against the backdrop of telling Chinese stories well and spreading Chinese culture effectively, it is the responsibility and mission of translators to translate the names in the literary works of ethnic minorities into English and disseminate them. This article mainly expounds on the types of the names of ethnic minorities and their English translation methods, and explores how to achieve the English translation of the names of ethnic minorities based on respect for cultural diversity, providing new ideas for the English translation of names in the works of ethnic minorities.
