Recently, it has garnered considerable global interest. This paper uses the bibliometric analysis method to comparatively analyze the paper&#8212;publishing trends, research investments, research teams, and international cooperation in the field of marine science in China and the United States. It reveals the characteristics and differences in the disciplinary development of the two countries in the field of marine science, providing reference and inspiration for the further development of talent cultivation and scientific research in this discipline.
