%X 文化符号翻译的阐释有多方面的角度，而翻译自诞生起就天然具备的社会属性决定了文化符号翻译以社会学角度进行阐释具有重要意义。布迪厄的社会实践理论强调通过“场域”和“惯习”来探索社会生活中实践的奥秘，因此考察“新年”争议译本“Chinese New Year”和“Lunar New Year”的译者所处“场域”及“惯习”，分析其翻译策略生成和最终译作的特点，探索两个译本背后的社会学逻辑，以期拓展文化符号翻译阐释的社会学维度。
There are several ways to approach the interpretation of cultural symbol translation. However, the essential importance of analyzing cultural symbol translation from a sociological standpoint is determined by the intrinsically social nature of translation since its beginning. Exploring the substance of social life activities through the ideas of “field” and “habitus” is a key component of Pierre Bourdieu’s theory of social practice. Thus, this study intends to broaden the sociological dimension of interpreting cultural symbol translation by investigating the “field” and “habitus” of translators involved in the contentious renderings of “Chinese New Year” and “Lunar New Year”, analyzing the development of their translation strategies and the features of the final translations, and investigating the sociological reasoning behind these two versions.
