%X 本文以功能对等理论为指导，从词汇、句法、修辞三个层面对《名利场》杨必译本进行了翻译研究。分析发现，在词汇层面，杨必选择了词义虽有变化但效果相同的词汇，使译文在语义和文化内涵上与原文对等；在句法层面，杨必对句子进行拆分合并且调整语序，更符合中文的表达习惯；在修辞层面，杨必选用了更符合中文表达的修辞手法。通过这些策略，杨必的译本不仅实现了与原文的功能对等，且译文更加符合中文的表达，达到了较高的翻译境界。
Guided by the theory of functional equivalence, this paper carries out a translation study of Yang Bi’s translation of Vanity Fair from three aspects: vocabulary, syntax and rhetoric. It is found that in lexical level, Yang Bi chooses words with the same effect though with changes in their meanings, so that the translated text is equivalent to the original in terms of semantics and cultural connotations; in syntactical level, Yang Bi splits and combines sentences and adjusts the order of words, which is more in line with the Chinese expression habits; and in rhetorical level, Yang Bi chooses rhetorical devices that are more in line with the Chinese expression. Through these strategies, Yang Bi’s translation not only realizes the functional equivalence with the original text, but also conforms to the Chinese expression, achieving a higher translation realm.
