With the rapid development of e-commerce, while consumers enjoy the convenience of online shopping, their privacy is facing severe challenges. There are numerous security risks in the collection, storage, use and transmission of personal information, and leakage incidents occur frequently. This article aims to deeply analyze the current legal situation of consumer privacy protection in the e-commerce field, explore the existing problems, and propose suggestions for improving the legal path to balance the development of e-commerce and the protection of consumer privacy, and effectively safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of consumers.
