However, elderly individuals encounter multiple barriers when using these platforms, leading to an increasingly prominent digital divide. This paper conducts an in-depth analysis of the digital divide phenomenon faced by elderly users in e-commerce platforms and explores strategies for age-friendly platform adaptation. The study aims to provide practical insights for improving the e-commerce experience of older adults, fostering inclusivity and harmony in the digital society, and ensuring that elderly individuals can access convenient and efficient e-commerce services in the era of digital transformation.
