In junior high school English teaching, thematic inquiry activities should be oriented towards the construction of structured knowledge, as structured knowledge can integrate factual knowledge and address issues such as fragmented conceptual knowledge. Drawing on teaching cases, strategies for constructing structured knowledge are proposed: before class, conduct text analysis, organize knowledge, and set goals; during class, integrate factual information, analyze methodological knowledge, and internalize value-oriented knowledge. These strategies promote students’ understanding of language knowledge, enhance their thinking quality, cultivate cultural awareness, improve learning abilities, and facilitate the implementation of core competencies in English education. %K 结构化知识, %K 初中英语, %K 主题意义
