The development of English listening and speaking skills is essential for students&#8217; language acquisition and practical application skills. The integration of information technology into English classroom teaching can not only significantly improve teaching efficiency, but also effectively promote the development of students&#8217; core literacy. Therefore, this paper focuses on the definition of deep learning and the importance of information technology to promote deep learning in junior high school English listening and speaking. On this basis, this paper elaborates on the effective strategies of information technology to promote the deep learning of junior high school English listening and speaking. It aims to help teachers make better use of information technology in their daily teaching, and to provide a reference for designing a more reasonable and effective listening and speaking teaching process.
