%X 法律英语翻译兼具严谨性与专业性的特点，句法上以结构复杂的长难句为主，语篇呈现出高度逻辑性与规范性。这些特征决定了法律英语翻译需译者具备扎实的语言功底与深厚的法律知识，要求译者在转换语言的同时，传递法律文化与体系。本文以《中华人民共和国民法典合同编》英译版为研究对象，深入分析涉外合同文本中法律英语在词汇、句式上的特点，并提出相应的翻译方法与策略。
Legal English translation is both rigorous and professional. Syntactically characterized by structurally complex and lengthy sentences, the discourse demonstrates a high degree of logical coherence and normative precision. These distinctive features necessitate that legal English translators possess both profound linguistic proficiency and extensive legal expertise, requiring translators to transfer legal culture and system while transforming language. This paper takes the English version of “Contracts of the Civil Code of the People’s Republic of China” as the research object, deeply analyzes the lexical and sentence characteristics of legal English in foreign-related contract texts, and puts forward corresponding translation methods and strategies.
