%X 学习一门外语时,理解其背后的文化至关重要。然而,当前初中英语教学仍以传统方法为主,侧重词汇、句子结构和语法的教学,跨文化意识的培养未得到足够重视。教师和学生往往更关注语言形式的学习,而忽略了通过语言探索不同文化的重要性。因此,本文旨在探讨在初中英语阅读教学中如何有效融入跨文化意识的培养,以提升学生的跨文化交流能力和全球视野。本文着眼于跨文化意识的内涵以及跨文化意识的重要性,在此基础上,为初中英语教师提供了具体的策略,以促进学生在掌握语言知识的同时,发展对不同文化的理解和尊重,从而更好地迎接全球化社会的挑战。
When learning a foreign language, it is crucial to understand the culture behind it. However, the current teaching of English in junior high school is still mainly based on traditional methods, focusing on the teaching of vocabulary, sentence structure and grammar, and the cultivation of cross-cultural awareness has not received enough attention. Teachers and students tend to focus more on learning in the form of language and ignore the importance of exploring different cultures through language. Therefore, this paper aims to explore how to effectively integrate the cultivation of cross-cultural awareness into the teaching of English reading in junior high school for improving students’ cross-cultural communication skills and global vision. This paper focuses on the connotation of intercultural awareness and the importance of intercultural awareness, and on this basis, it provides specific strategies for junior high school English teachers to promote students’ understanding and respect for different cultures while mastering language knowledge for better meeting the challenges of a globalized society.
