With the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, the way of teaching and learning in the context of informatization is undergoing a huge change. Applying AI technology to higher vocational English teaching has become an important direction for the development and reform of English education. In the field of English oral and writing teaching, AI technology has been widely used, with intelligent teaching platforms, such as smart classrooms and “cloud platforms”, gradually becoming systematic. However, with regard to the auxiliary resources for English teaching, the application of AI intelligent technology still needs more attention and research. At present, the auxiliary teaching resources for some higher vocational English textbooks are not perfect, as there are a series of problems such as outdated standardized courseware, scarce reading text and picture resources, incomplete text background information and insufficient grammar explanation. In this article, the author attempts to propose three specific paths based on constructivism theory for teachers to apply AI technology to the building of auxiliary resources for English teaching, and transform these technical advantages into actual teaching benefits. %K 人工智能, %K 高职英语教学, %K 教学辅助资源, %K 建构主义
