In the context of deepening globalization, higher vocational English translation teaching plays a key role in cultivating cross-cultural communication abilities and international talent. This study, based on the perspective of ideological and political education, aims to explore innovative development paths for English translation teaching practices in higher vocational education. Through in-depth analysis, it seeks to build a new model that integrates ideological education into translation teaching, aiming to cultivate students’ professional skills and moral qualities equally, thus producing well-rounded, morally and professionally capable English translation talents for society.
