The Huagang Formation in the West Lake Sag of the East China Sea Shelf Basin is an important oil and gas reservoir, and the evolution of its provenance-sedimentary system is of guiding significance for concealed oil and gas exploration. Through seismic data, logging data and sedimentary analysis, this study reveals the coupling mechanism between tectonic and sedimentary: 1) tectonic activity controls the direction of the source, with the northeast-trending faults dominating the development of near-source turbidity fans in the early stage, and the northwest-trending secondary faults promoting the formation of distal reticulated channel sand bodies in the later period; 2) Climate affects sediment types by adjusting erosion intensity, and the transport capacity of sand bodies in wet period is enhanced, and the proportion of argillaceous sediments in dry period increases. 3) Oil and gas migrate vertically along the fault, and the tectonic-lithologic composite trap is the focus of exploration. Finally, a quaternary coupling model of “tectonic source control, geomorphological channel control climate control, fault control” was constructed to provide a theoretical basis for the exploration of similar basins. %K 西湖凹陷, %K 花港组, %K 河流扇, %K 地层层序格架, %K 源汇系统
