%X 张衡不仅是我国古代著名的科学家，而且是一位思想家。张衡的哲学思想对应的多重身份有儒家思想为底色的士大夫、道家思想为底色的玄学家和隐者以及充满阴阳家思想与宗教神话色彩的天文学家和文学家等。阮元的《畴人传》收集网罗了中国古代在天文、数学领域有突出贡献的畴人以及他们的学术活动和贡献。以《畴人传》为线索，张衡可以作为畴人身份的产生和呈现的人物，张衡畴人身份的既存角色类型组合可以呈现出整个畴人群体的形象。提起中国古代天文学家，张衡的人物形象总能引发深刻印象。
Zhang Heng was not only a famous scientist in ancient China, but also a philosopher. Zhang Heng’s philosophical ideas correspond to multiple identities, including Confucian based scholar-bureaucrat, Taoist based metaphysician and hermit, as well as astronomer and litterateur full of yin-yang ideology and religious mythology. Ruan Yuan’s “Biography of Ch’ou-Jen” collected outstanding contributions of Ch’ou-Jen in the fields of astronomy and mathematics in ancient China, as well as their academic activities and contributions. With the clue of the Biography, Zhang Heng can be used as the character who produces and presents the identity of the people, and the combination of the existing role types of Zhang Heng’s identity can present the image of the whole group of people. When it comes to ancient Chinese astronomers, the figure of Zhang Heng is always impressive.
