A Study on the Errors of Subject-Verb Agreement in English Writing of Middle School Students %A 刘沥沥 %J Vocational Education %P 133-137 %@ 2160-4401 %D 2025 %I Hans Publishing %R 10.12677/ve.2025.144166 %X 英语写作能力,作为一项表达性语言技能,对于英语学习者而言,是至关重要的输出能力。它不仅是评估英语学习者综合语言运用能力的关键指标,而且还是评价其语言习得水平的重要参数。汉语和英语分属不同的语言体系,汉语中没有主谓一致等语法规则,因此学生对主谓一致规则的掌握有一定难度。本文以输出理论和错误理论为基础,分析了20份初二学生作文文本,研究发现初中生英语写作中的主谓一致偏误的八种类型,并剖析了原因。初中生英语写作中主谓一致偏误原因主要有:语际偏误、语内偏误、主谓一致结构磨蚀。为提升初中生英语写作水平,试从教师角度提出以下建议:培养学生的英语思维和跨文化思考能力、重视语言输入输出、提高学生纠错意识。
English writing ability, as an expressive language skill, is a crucial output ability for English learners. It is not only a key indicator for assessing English learners’ comprehensive language use ability, but also an important parameter for evaluating their level of language acquisition. Chinese and English belong to different language systems, and there are no grammatical rules such as subject-verb agreement in Chinese, so it is difficult for students to master the subject-verb agreement rule. Based on output theory and error theory, this paper analyzes 20 composition texts of middle school students, and the study finds eight types of subject-verb agreement errors in middle school students’ English writing and analyzes the reasons. The main reasons for subject-verb agreement error in middle school students’ English writing are: interlanguage bias, intralinguistic bias, and erosion of subject-verb agreement structure. In order to improve middle school students’ English writing, try to put forward the following suggestions from the teachers’ point of view: cultivate students’ English thinking and cross-cultural thinking ability, pay attention to language input and output, and improve students’ awareness of error correction. %K 初中生, %K 英语写作, %K 主谓一致
