Shenzhen has established a comprehensive system covering the entire process from farm to table by constructing the “Shenzhen Food Standards System” and launching the “Shenzhen Standards” (“Zhenpin”) brand. Through strict control at the three levels of standard formulation, implementation, and supervision, it has not only enhanced food safety but also driven the transformation and upgrading of the agricultural industry. The “Zhenpin” brand plays a significant role in promoting the standardization, branding, and marketization of agricultural products. Furthermore, the “Zhenpin” model offers specific recommendations for less developed regions such as Guizhou in the construction of regional public brands, including strengthening policy support, improving standard systems, building industrial chains, and enhancing brand influence.
