This study systematically reviews the theoretical evolution and research hotspots of internet platform corporate social responsibility through knowledge mapping and bibliometric analysis, utilizing CiteSpace software on samples from Chinese core journals and CSSCI-indexed journals (2011~2024) in the CNKI database. Key findings include: (1) Core scholars and institutions have emerged in China’s internet platform CSR research, yet systematic collaborative networks remain underdeveloped; (2) Research perspectives have expanded from single-discipline approaches to interdisciplinary integration encompassing sociology and public governance, with research subjects extending to multi-agent systems including two-sided markets and internet-based ecosystem platforms; (3) A convergence trend is observed between platform governance and CSR fulfillment mechanisms in addressing CSR deficiencies and deviant behaviors. Future research should prioritize constructing an integrated “CSR fulfillment-governance” framework for internet platform enterprises, synchronizing accountability mechanisms with governance paradigms, advancing standardized evaluation metrics, and deepening empirical investigations into platform CSR practices.
