The English translation of traditional Chinese medical terminology presents a significant challenge in the field of classical Chinese medical literature translation. This paper conducts an in-depth analysis of the characteristics of traditional Chinese medical terminology, including its profound cultural connotations, unique philosophical concepts, and abstract conceptual expressions. These distinctive features impose heightened demands on translators, requiring them not only to accurately convey the original medical information but also to address cultural disparities and accommodate the cognitive patterns of target language readers. Through examining the theoretical foundations of sociocognitive terminology, this study emphasizes the crucial role of cognitive frameworks, categorization, and metaphorization in terminology translation. Sociocognitive terminology not only provides a novel perspective for understanding and analyzing terminology but also highlights the interaction between cognitive and cultural factors in translation practice. Guided by these principles, the paper analyzes and discusses relevant terminology in multiple English translations of Huangdi Neijing, aiming to offer valuable insights and references for addressing the complexities inherent in translating traditional Chinese medical terminology. %K 社会认知术语学， %K 黄帝内经， %K 翻译， %K 中医术语
