Preeclampsia is a pregnancy disease with a complex pathogenesis, which may involve multiple regulatory cell death modes such as apoptosis, autophagy, pyroptosis, ferroptosis, and copper death. Linking preeclampsia with regulatory cell death can help to gain a more comprehensive and in-depth understanding of the pathological process of preeclampsia, providing potential predictive indicators and novel diagnostic and therapeutic methods for its occurrence.
