Through her journey, the novel shapes a female image of self-respect, self-love, and independence, carrying unique therapeutic significance for female readers. Based on the theory of reading therapy, this paper explores the therapeutic value of <i>Jane Eyre</i> from four perspectives: life values, views on love and marriage, mental health and gender identity.
