Shakespeare used the artistic technique of double plot in King Lear, in which the main plot and the secondary plot complement each other and cross each other, vividly showing the change of heart of the main characters in the play, revealing the universality of the proposition that people have to pay a heavy price for their wrongdoings and should bear the corresponding responsibility, highlighting the ideological background of the tragedy, inheriting and expanding the Elizabethan theater art and Aristotle’s tragedy theory, fully highlighting the artistic charm of the secondary plot, and reaching the high point of dramatic creation at that time. %K 莎士比亚, %K 《李尔王》, %K 次要情节
