Aristotle, a pivotal figure in ancient Greek philosophy, ingeniously intertwined the concept of the mean with moral education, thereby crafting his own influential system of moral educational thought. By delving into the formative background of Aristotle’s moral educational philosophy, we can further dissect the essence of his doctrine of the mean, revealing three salient characteristics: the “relative mean” that signifies just the right measure, the realization of the mean through justice and wealth, and the notion that the mean is a virtue acquired through practice. Integrating Marx’s theory of spiritual production, it is deduced that Aristotle’s doctrine of the mean holds contemporary value in elevating personal realms to pursue a happy life, grounding social practice to achieve human free development, and adhering to the principle of moderation to construct a harmonious society. %K 亚里士多德, %K 中庸思想, %K 德育, %K 当代价值
