%X 作为&#8220;新闻的眼睛&#8221;&#65292;新闻标题是新闻主体的高度浓缩形式。英语新闻标题中往往蕴含着丰富的隐喻和转喻现象。关于新闻标题的转喻研究&#65292;长期以来并不如隐喻深入。实际上&#65292;标题语言在很大程度上是一种转喻语言。从概念转喻的角度解读新闻标题的翻译为汉英翻译提供了一个新的研究视角。本文从China Daily双语版选取研究语料&#65292;对比在翻译的过程中原标题的转喻是如何在翻译的认知加工中呈现的。并得出结论&#65306;根据语境和文化差异的情况&#65292;可以选择保留转喻、转换转喻类型、舍去源语转喻等。<br>As the &#8220;eyes of the news&#8221;, news headlines are a highly condensed form of news content. English news headlines often contain rich phenomena of metaphor and metonymy. Research on metonymy in news headlines has long been less comprehensive compared to metaphor. In reality, headline language is largely a form of metonymic language. Analyzing the translation of news headlines from the perspective of conceptual metonymy offers a new research domain in Chinese-English translation studies. This paper selects research corpus from the bilingual edition of China Daily and compares how metonymy in the original headlines is represented in the cognitive processing of translation. The conclusion suggests that, depending on context and cultural differences, one can choose to retain the metonymy, alter the type of metonymy, and discard the source language metonymy.
