Introducing the PDCA cycle into quality improvement in higher education, through continuous feedback and adjustment, ensures the ongoing enhancement of teaching quality and student learning outcomes. Firstly, the basic concept of the PDCA cycle and its feasibility in quality improvement in higher education are introduced. Secondly, various problems and challenges in the current higher education environment are analyzed. Thirdly, the specific application process of the PDCA cycle in quality improvement in higher education is described, helping readers understand how to apply it in actual teaching scenarios. Finally, challenges in implementing the PDCA cycle in quality improvement in higher education are proposed. The article aims to provide valuable reference and guidance for full-time university faculty.
