At present, China is in a critical period of economic transformation and development mode, using data and other production factors to develop a socialist market economy with Chinese characteristics, adhering to the theory of surplus value, perfecting the basic economic system and distribution system, mobilizing all the positive factors to develop the productive forces, resolving the main contradictions in society, and enhancing the people’s sense of well-being, in the era of the digital economy, inheriting and developing Marx’s theory of surplus value, and constantly learning its main content, so that the Chinese people can better understand the surplus value theory and its great significance to China’s economic development, which is conducive to the people’s confidence in the development of the socialist market economy with Chinese characteristics, and provides spiritual impetus for realizing the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
