%0 Journal Article %T Reconstructing the Foreign Language Education Paradigm Driven by the Dual-Spiral Educational Model: Coupling Mechanisms and Practical Pathways of Holistic Education and Three-Whole Education %A Rui Yan %J Open Access Library Journal %V 12 %N 4 %P 1-11 %@ 2333-9721 %D 2025 %I Open Access Library %R 10.4236/oalib.1113304 %X Based on the demand for connotative development in higher education in the new era, this study innovatively proposes a ¡°dual-spiral educational model¡± that integrates holistic education with Three-Whole Education (whole-person, whole-process, whole-coverage). Holistic education, centered on the ¡°knowledge-competency-values¡± integrated framework, aligns with Three-Whole Education¡¯s methodological principles of ¡°all-staff collabora-tion, whole-process integration and full-domain coverage¡±. Through the inte-gration of value logic, practical logic, and temporal logic, this study con-structs a tri-dimensional interactive teaching model and a ¡°dual-core four-dimensional evaluation system¡±, that is subject dimension featuring co-ordinated all-staff education with scientific planning, process dimension im-plementing comprehensive whole-process education through multidimen-sional teaching and spatial dimension achieving omnidirectional education by establishing a ¡°spiral educational chain¡±. Practically, the model leverages intelligent platforms to create blended teaching environments, realizing im-plicit integration of ideological-political elements through dual mechanisms of ¡°linguistic scaffolding¡± and ¡°values-based scaffolding¡±. Theoretically, it addresses the structural contradiction of ¡°technique-over-principle¡± in tradi-tional foreign language education by offering a paradigm for nurturing glob-ally competent talents with Chinese cultural identity and international vision.
