The two are dialectically unified and mutually compatible. The ideological and political education in the new era should be based on the theory of comprehensive human development, and achieve innovative development of ideological and political education from the aspects of conceptual innovation, adhering to the principle of people-oriented, content innovation, enriching educational connotation, method innovation, emphasizing practical experience and carrier innovation, and integrating modern technology.
